I am currently planning my wedding for Oct of 2011. We are on a tight budget, as we have 2 children & I am a stay @ home mom. I have been looking for bridal gowns with a 00 budget for the dress. But i just cant seem to find anything within my price range that I fall in love with. I was looking online & it seems that there are quite a few websites that offer to custom make a dress to your size at a very low price. ( Most of the dress on these websites go for 0- 0). I like the prices, & the picture of the dresses but I need to know a little more. Anyone purchase a dress online, please let me know what you thought. Im loosing sleep over this!!!!

I got a yellow dress for a summer outdoor wedding. I love it and would love to wear it again, but the next wedding I am going to is in October.

What do you think black bridesmaid dresses for a fall wedding? Im am getting married next year and having a very elegant formal wedding and I was wondering what people thought of black bridesmaid dresses. They will all be wearing different black dresses.

I am planning a somewhat casual wedding. Since it’s my second marriage I don’t want tuxes. I am planning on wearing a simple, elegant, pink dress, but not a wedding gown. Since it will be a fall wedding I’m thinking of having my fiance, his sons, and my sons wear khaki pants and dress polo shirts (not sure of the color yet). Can you recommend any websites or stores that cater to men and boys? I want them all to match. The children are ages 13, 11, 9, and 6. The two oldest boys can wear men’s sizes but the young ones are of course still in children’s sizes. Thanks!

I don’t really have anyone near enough to go with me right now and I happen to have a free day tomorrow where I can get alot done. This will be my first trip to the ole bridal salon so this time it’s all about finding out what size, style and color looks best on me. I will not be buying one becuase we still need to decide on a venue for our reception but I need to put some reality to all of those glossy size 4 models in the bridal mags before I fall completely in love with a dress that’s not complimentary on ME. lol. So, will I be in the minority going alone? Will it be depressing? Will I be at a disadvantage being by myself? or an ADvantage? Anyone do this?
I want to ask my sister to come up but she lives 2hrs away and I won’t even be buying one tomorrow. Plus, I usually find shopping alone, in general, just more peaceful because I can take my time and be as picky/obsessive/detail-oriented as I am without annoying others or feeeling like I should rush My big problem is just that I have this picture of all brides-to-be going w thier bridesmaids (who I haven’t even picked yet) or their mom (who lives 4 states away) or thier best friends (also many states away) and I wont’ have that.

wearing black dress to fall wedding?

my cousins wedding is in november. i think it may be in a church, so i was wondering if it’s okay to wear a black dress. It’s one of those little black dresses. It’s sorta like a strapless dress (its solid black) and then the back area (shoulders) and straps are black lace.

im wearing black heels with a little gold on them. And probabaly a grey cardigan since it’ll be chilly then.

and accesorize with some crystals/pearl necklace and bracelets

is it okay to wear that?
or should i go get another dress (or maybe buy a colorful sash to tie around my waist?)

err, i do have black hair lol. i’m asian.
i dont have my ears pierced so ear rings aren’t really an option..

i’m not sure if my parents are willing to buy me other heels since I bought a new pair of black ones last month and i don’t wear heels often…

my best friend don’t have yet the date for the wedding, but she has the colors choosen (aqua blue, brown with lilac and green and gold as accents for details) she is hoping for a fall wedding but i am clueless for flowers that will work under those colors, specially blue and i am trying to help her with this detail…
her wedding gown will be on the ivory golden color, and so far will be an outdoor ceremony with an indoors reception…as a note she lives in Puerto Rico, so living in the Caribbean is also important when choosing flowers…

i need help trying to figure out color for my fall wedding dress. My original plan was to go for the white; however, my fiance added yesterday how he thinks we should go with pink because the wedding theme will be pink.

need help picking out a dress for a fall wedding?

I have been invited to my friends wedding. This is my first wedding and im not sure what to wear. The wedding is at the end of September and the ceremony is at 2pm and the reception is at 5pm. Im not sure if i should wear a floor length dress or a cocktail dress and what color should i wear?
